This Winnipeg wedding took place at St Anthony of Padua Church on a great day. I think we captured almost every kind of human expression on this day. Just check out the reception and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Like when Marvin got his pants taken off him during the reception at St Anthony of Padua Church. It was hilarious and the pictures are so great! Don’t worry it was all in fun and if you haven’t seen it before it’s a very common and expected tradition in the Filipino culture.
I also remember how Krystal’s dad flexed his bicep and looked deep into Marvins eyes with a serious face while he gave her away at the ceremony. Everyone all laughed including her dad, this type of humor flowed throughout the whole day and made it a really fun wedding.
The ambiance of St Anthony of Padua Church contributed greatly to the wedding’s charm.
This Winnipeg wedding had some very special moments attached to it. Such as this wedding being the last ever for event planner Details by Davis who did an amazing job. There were also guest performers who sang beautifully during the father and mother dances. As well as a special performance to Marvin and Krystal by another amazing guest singer.
There was a lot of great energy around this wedding and the party after was awesome! I even tried my first Filipino ice cream Halo Halo. Which gives me a head start to my trip to the Philipines come March : )
