A Beautiful Human Rights Museum Wedding

Human Rights Museum Wedding

Kicking off the first wedding of the year with this incredible Human Rights Museum Wedding. Omar and Adrienne are absolute sweethearts. They were so nervous and excited to see each other that they couldn’t hold back their tears when they saw each other for the first time up in the tiny point that sits on top of the museum.

It was such a beautiful moment and it instantly reminded me of why I love shooting weddings. It goes way deeper than pretty pictures. It’s the story of two people in love and everything they’ve been through together. All the love, tears, hard work, and tiny moments that they shared together came together on that day. It was their story and we were thrilled to be a part of it that day.

This Human Rights Museum wedding took place exactly on Omar and Adrienne’s 10 year anniversary of being together. They finally tied the knot on this perfect May day.

A little bit of rain and wind always makes a perfect wedding in my opinion. It adds a little bit of drama and some more elements to the day and to the photos, which I love to play with like in the last photo.

I had a lot of help on this wedding. It was my little brother’s first wedding helping with the lights. Lucky did an awesome job second shooting as always.

The staff at the Museum was incredibly helpful. Michele and Art worked flawlessly with us, guiding us through the massive structure like little mice and getting everything going when needed.

The ceremony took place in the Garden Of Contemplation, which is near the bottom of the museum. It has beautiful natural light coming in from the windows if you have an early enough ceremony and holds quite a bit of people.

The ceremony ended with the couple going straight into their first dance with the crowds overlooking from up top.

Omar and Adrienne also had amazing singers and dance performers, including Omar’s brother. They dazzled the room with their incredible freestyle and break dancing moves. Definitely the best I’ve ever seen live.

This is my fifth Human Rights Museum wedding, and it’s always different. None better than the other but always perfect in their own way.

Enjoy their highlights and comment below if you love them!
